You can now create timers that count up indefinitely.
The location name that created the variation is now shown.
You can now create variations of your background videos and images, with adjustments such as blur, brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, greyscale, sepia, invert, opacity and drop shadow. Variations can also zoom, flip, set the background to fit or cover the screen, and change a video’s speed.
Variations are shared between locations, but can only be edited or deleted by the location that created them. To change another location’s variation, duplicate it.
A new setting stops a Control Surface from automatically becoming the Master Control Surface. This is useful when several control surfaces are used for the same location. When the Location Control Surface closes, another control surface now takes over within a few seconds.
Font picker loads preview images faster
Images, Scriptures and Slides have a new context menu item: "Show on Monitor Only". When selected the content will only show on the monitor. This is the same functionality as right clicking on lyrics for a song.
Remote video playback sync has been improved.
Stability improvements. Only buffer YouTube on outputs that show it.
Sequence videos now show a preview when playing.
Lower CPU use when playing videos in Safari.
When video preview is off the monitor now shows the video poster.
CPU usage has been reduced for timers in monitor outputs.
Remote displays reconnect automatically and more reliably after a network drop, a computer waking from sleep, or a server restart. Dead connections are now detected within seconds instead of going unnoticed. Reconnections are spread out after a server restart, so many displays reconnecting at once don't overload it. The control surface stays responsive over long sessions as remote displays and output windows connect and disconnect.
Lower memory use during long sessions. Videos, video backgrounds and preview clips now release their memory as soon as they're finished with, rather than when the page is reloaded. An error in one feature no longer stops other features from responding to the same action.
Faster, lighter downloads to the browser cache. Less background work while downloading, and smoother progress updates. Files requested at the same moment are only downloaded once, for example the same image appearing in several places. Cancelling a download stops it straight away, and switching cache settings while downloading is more dependable.
